P2 are enjoying this lovely sunny weather as they play in our school garden.
P2 took inspiration from the Artist Sarah White as they drew rabbits and painted them using watercolours. We wanted to make these fun, bright and colourful! We are getting into the Easter spirit 🐰.
We had the PSNI in to school to have a talk to all classes about the importance of keeping safe and ‘Stranger Danger’. ⚠️ P2 also got the chance to try on the uniforms and ask questions.
P2 are learning all about how plants grow and we looked at how some fruit and vegetables grow. We did some observational art and drew some lovely peppers, tomatoes, bananas and strawberries.
P2 wore odd socks for Anti-Bullying week. We are all Upstanders in P2. ☺️
P2 had the chance to meet a local artist Julie Harron from Belfast who came to show P2 how to merge watercolours and creat animals. It was a lovely morning painting!
Primary Two painted with apples from our apple tree in our school garden. We also had a taste of them and they were delicious 🍎 🍏
