Literacy Week 

We had a brilliant time celebrating Literacy Week in school. We got to take part in a reading photo challenge, visits to the book fair and we also had a visitor from LibrariesNI. 

Our genre for this half term has been procedural writing. 

 

We all took part in making rice crispy buns for our Children in Need Day and have been able to record our step by step method! 

Throughout Term 1 we all planned pieces of Narrative writing based on our class topic of ‘Ancient Egyptians’. We were then able to make them into comic strips using the iPads. Take a look at a few below!
