Literacy
P5 enjoying a literacy session at Saint Aiden's Church. Pupils were invited to a coronation celebration event where they listened to stories about kings and queens. Tasty, healthy, treats were also on offer.
They also had the opportunity to write letters and cards to the new King Charles. All of which were posted to Buckingham Palace! 👑
P5 enjoyed visiting the Book Fair and doing an outdoor literacy walk as part of Literacy Week. 📚 ✏️
P5 had great fun celebrating World Book Day. Lots of favourite books were shared and some fantastic literacy work was produced. Everyone could dress as their favourite book character as well!
Recently, we have enjoyed using the ICT suite. We used the internet to research facts about Arctic animals which we then turned into fact files on Microsoft Publisher. 💻 📋
