World Around Us
Minibeasts in our garden!Lots and lots of caterpillars on this tree. We were so excited to see these little creatures in our garden!
We enjoyed adding leaves and sticks to our new bug planter.
P1 loved growing their own cress.
Our class trip to Oxford Island
We found some pictures hiding in the woods.
We listened for sounds in the woods. Then we hunted for minibeasts.
Last of all we looked for minibeasts in the pond.
We are learning all about Minibeasts.
P1 had another visit to the Tesco store on the Lisburn Road. They had fun searching for lots of different fruit and vegetables.
They visited the bakery and everyone got a bread roll!
We are learning all about fruit. We had great fun making fruit kebabs during Golden time.
We took part in The Great British Bird Watch as part of our Eco School theme this year.
We have been learning all about Homes. We have had great fun playing in 'Our Building Site'.
P1 visit to Tesco's on the Lisburn Road.
They had great fun finding lots of different fruit and vegetables.
We are looking forward to our next visit at Christmas time.
We are enjoying learning all about colour. We used food colouring to make new colours. We loved watching the kitchen towel absorb the food colouring!
