P5 had a wonderful visit to the Ulster Museum! We participated in two fantastic workshops.

Everyone had the opportunity to hold and touch lots of interesting objects from ancient Ireland.

We played in the beautiful gardens and ended the day with a well deserved ice cream!🍦🙂

🐶 We enjoyed a lovely visit from The Dog’s Trust, we learnt about the very important work they do and how we should behave around dogs! 🐶

P5 having fun on our Shared Education trip to Belfast Activity Centre. Everyone had the opportunity to learn essential survival skills! After all the hard work, we all got to enjoy hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows! 

P5 made some “cracking” Christmas cards! 😏🎊

P5 Cultural Festival Visit at C. S. Lewis Square. A fantastic experience for everyone! 

P5 Dental Workshop. 

As part of our World Around Us topic, P5 have been learning about the human body. Today we had a dentist deliver a dental workshop. The session included a fun dental video, tips for brushing, what to expect when you visit a dentist and lots more! 

The dentist also announced the winners of a dental colouring competition. Three boys and three girls were chosen. To end the session, everyone received a dental goody bag! We all really enjoyed the fun, interactive session. 

P5 participated in Anti-Bullying week by wearing odd socks. Celebrating the fact that it is good to be different! Everyone had lots of fun! 

As part of our Shared Education Programme. Good Shepherd Primary School visited Blythefield. We all enjoyed a packed day of sports, arts, crafts and food! Healthy Kidz delivered a  fantastic hour of sports and exercise.
