World Around Us

Blythefield Primary scooped another award when P6/7 won the Translink Travel to School Award which was judged across all of Northern Ireland.

We strive to offer a balanced curriculum. Our pupils attended technology workshops at INST and Victoria College. Our boys created a mini speaker and our girls created a USB stick. We were delighted with our finished product.

We experienced a very informative morning when visiting the RADAR centre. We understand how to be proactive towards our personal safety and the safety of others. We came away feeling very empowered.

We really enjoyed a visit from Scientific Sue, who talked to us about the dangers of dropping litter. We carried out investigations to show how dangerous litter can be for animals.

The Amazing Journey visits Blythefield.
P6/7 had a great morning at Charter Youth Club. We took part in a road safety themed workshop. We also enjoyed the Christmas themed party. Thank you to the GVRT who organised this event.

We had the absolute pleasure of taking part in a science workshop hosted by the Dogs Trust. We learnt a lot of important information about looking after and handling dogs. We even had a guest visitor and we totally fell in love with the little pup!

P6/7 had a very important visit from Belfast City Council. We are aware of he dangerous that litter and dog mess cause our community and pets. We aim to keep our community clean! #antilitter
Primary 6 and 7 had a fun morning visiting Tesco Lisburn Road to take part in an Autumn Trail. The staff and customers all commented on the excellent behaviour of our pupils. 🌟
