World Around Us
KS2 had a very enjoyable time thinking about “Our Waste, Our World” during a recent visit from Habitat for Humanity. We thought about the impact of waste on our environment and how we can Reduce, Reuse and Recycle effectively and we also got an insight into the charity work which Habitat for Humanity are involved in ♻️♻️♻️
The Professor Fluffy Programme introduced our pupils to Queen’s University. Representatives from QUB visited our school to tell the pupils all about university life in a fun, engaging and interactive way. Professor Fluffy aims to make children aware of the exciting opportunities available through higher education and through early introduction, we hope to encourage children to set their goals high for the future.
Thanks to first aid training, P6/7 know how to put people into the recovery position, give CPR, use a defibrillator, apply bandages and help an adult or child who is choking. First aid skills can save lives.
