P6 had a great time viewing their own and other children's artwork today in Blythefield's first EVER art exhibition! 🖌🎨
P6 visited Belfast Zoo as part of our "Living Things" topic. We saw lots of animals including penguins 🐧, lions 🦁 and snakes 🐍. We even got to hold some! Take a look!
P6 had a visitor from the Dairy Council NI today. 🥛 She taught us all about how to eat healthily 🍃 and how we should look after our bodies through good nutrition 🍎 and exercise ⚽️.
Coronation 👑 Street Party and Lunch! 🥪 🇬🇧
P6 are First Aiders! Today, we had a special visitor from The Red Cross. We learnt how to put each other in the recovery position and even got to learn some CPR! You can feel safe when we are around! 💪
We are sporting stars! 😎. Today we visited Good Shepherd Primary where we spent the day learning how to play Gaelic, Hurling and Rounders. What a fabulous day!
P6 had a wonderful time at the Belfast School of Music 🎶 for our Music Morning. We performed with instruments, sung songs and even showed off our own composition! 🎼

As part of Literacy week, P6 have been using their Geography skills to create 3D maps of places in our favourite books. We created places like Hogwarts from Harry Potter, the Jungle from Jumanji and the Chocolate Factory 🏭 from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! 📖
P6 have really been enjoying their Music Makers workshops every Monday. We have been developing our singing and rhythm skills. 🎶

P6 really enjoyed learning lots about Space Exploration from our visitors from W5! We asked lots of questions about satellites and made our very own telescopes! 🌙 🌟 🌎
What an amazing time P6 had when we visited the Grand Opera House! We got to learn Chinese Martial Arts, the Lion 🦁 dance, the Dragon 🐉 dance and got to learn to play a drum made from Buffalo skin! We also found out lots about the Chinese culture and asked lots of brilliant questions 👏

Brilliant Shared Education day when Good Shepherd visited Blythefield. We created our very own dream catchers and even had a dance off! 💃
P6 had an amazing Shared Education day with Good Shepherd once again! We were joined by James from Fun with Drums and learnt how to play lots of different rhythms as a team! 🥁 🪘 🛢

We had an amazing day at We Are Vertigo for our Shared Education trip with Good Shepherd Primary School. We got to go into the inflatapark and even climbed the high ropes! A wonderful time was had by everyone...
P6's second day of Shared Education with Good Shepherd Primary. We had fun with our coach, Paul, from Sonal Sportz NI and even worked on the computers learning how to code! 🖥 👩💻

Odd socks and posters for Anti-Bullying week. We wore odd socks to show that we understand and support everyone's differences. We enjoyed creating posters to remind everyone to be kind to each other. 🧦🎨
