Literacy Week
P7 enjoyed taking part in a range of activities during our Literacy Week Celebrations. We really enjoyed the literacy scavenger hunt and the photo challenge.
P7 had a fantastic time participating in the Professor Fluffy Project with Queen’s University. We are aware of the educational opportunities available in the future. The organisers of this project claimed our pupils were a dream to work with!
In P7 we enjoy developing our writing skills. We worked in groups to plan for a Podcast based on healthy lifestyles. We wrote scripts, rehearsed lines and scenes and then we used our ICT skills to create a polished Podcast.
P7 created some excellent pieces of Narrative Writing. They showcased their writing using the Comic Life app on our school iPads. They are on display in school and we hope you enjoy reading them.
In P7 we enjoy SQUIRT time, we enjoy reading a selection of novels throughout the year. We earn stickers and treats along the way which adds to the fun.
