Literacy

P6/7 had the honour of delivering a presentation to staff from the Education Authority as part of their staff engagement training. Not only did we create and deliver a presentation but we also created some beautiful art work. We were very honoured to be the only Primary School invited to take part in this event.
P6/7 had a fantastic time participating in the Professor Fluffy Project with Queen’s University. We are aware of the educational opportunities available in the future. The organisers of this project claimed our pupils were a dream to work with!
P6/7 loved taking part in the range of fabulous activities during Literacy Week. We loved wearing our pyjamas to school for our Big Bed Time Read.
P6/7 prepared and delivered an excellent assembly during Anti-Bullying week. We informed our peers about the different types of bullying and how to seek help if needed. Blythefield Primary is a bully free zone!
We enjoy going to our well stocked library each week to change our novels. We like to get cosy and get lost in a good book!
