Primary 1 Mrs Hunter & Mrs Moore
P1 have loved all their visits to the outdoor play area at Arellian Nursery this year. Thank you to all the staff and girls and boys for inviting us to play. We had great fun!
We have made lots of new friends.

P1 enjoyed their last visit from baby Aria.
Thank you to mum Janine for bringing Aria into our classroom all year. We have all learnt so much about babies and their development. We will all miss her!

P1 had a fantastic morning at the Tesco store on the Lisburn Road.
They learnt all about chocolate and even got to taste some too!
They had great fun pretending to be the shop assistant!
They smiled at the customer, scanned the food and then said have a lovely day!
We all loved sitting at the till.

Outdoor Play in the April sunshine!
P1 are learning all about Minibeasts!
We love our visits from baby Aria. She can clap her hands now and loves to walk holding on to her Mummy!
Baby Aria came into the P1 classroom again. She can stand now!
Outdoor play at Arellian Nursery
P1 'Farm to Fork'. The children got to stand inside the giant freezers and watched how bread was baked. They got to take some home with them too.
P1 had a fantastic 'Farm to Fork' trip at Tesco. They enjoyed all the activities Mrs Morrsion had planned. They enjoyed shopping for fruit and vegetables. They loved tasting them too!
P1 are enjoying learning all about fruit.

P1 enjoyed learning how to make a healthy fruit smoothie to drink during Golden Time. They loved tasting it too!

We put a Gummy bear in a bowl of water and left it for one night.

Some sweets had changed colour and they were all much bigger. We couldn't wait to taste the sweets!
P1 were pleased to see baby Aria again after the Christmas holidays.
She is a very happy baby.

Christmas Jumper Day 2015
All dressed up for our play "Christmas with the Aliens".
We had a fantastic trip to the Linen Museum in Lisburn. We made some Christmas decorations and then went to see Santa. We all talked to Santa and he gave everyone a present!
Thank you to all the Linen Museum staff and Santa too!
P1 were so excited to see baby Aria again. She can hold her head up now.

Every Tuesday P1 have been taking part in the Physical Fundamentals programme. Coach Callum has taught them lots of new skills and fun games.
Pi enjoyed making puppets during Golden Time. Lots of happy faces!

P1 had another visit from baby Aria. She is so cute.
P1 have been learning to sort using Carroll diagrams. They enjoyed working in pairs to sort their materials.

Golden Time- P1 had fun designing and making music shakers.
P1 had a lovely time decorating gingerbread men during Golden Time.
P1 have been learning all about colour.
P1 enjoyed being "Scientists" during Golden Time. They worked together to make a Lava Lamp.
They loved watching the bubbles rise and explode!
P1 enjoyed using the IPads today. They were using the Pocket Phonics App to help them learn their new sound.
P1 have been investigating the colours in Autumn leaves. They have enjoyed using magnifying glasses to look closely at the leaves.
Our new P1's have enjoyed their first days at school.
