KS2 Habitat for Humanity workshop 🌍
KS2 had a very enjoyable time thinking about “Our Waste, Our World” during a recent visit from Habitat for Humanity. We thought about the impact of waste on our environment and how we can Reduce, Reuse and Recycle effectively and we also got an insight into the charity work which Habitat for Humanity are involved in ♻️♻️♻️
Food and Fitness Council Workshop 😀
P5 were able to showcase their knowledge about the five food groups this morning! We had a great time learning about fitness and we tried out some new moves which contribute to a happy, healthy body 👦🏻🥛🐟🍏🥔🥩 👧🏻
🦷 How much sugar? 🦷
As part of our “Human Body” topic we have been learning all about teeth. We know that too much sugar in our diet can cause microorganisms in the mouth to produce acid which can start to decay our teeth. We investigated how much sugar there is in certain food and drinks. We were quite surprised! 😯
European Day of Languages 2019 🌍
On 26/09/19 we learnt about different countries in Europe and the languages they speak. We know how to say “hello” in Italian, Spanish, German and French 🇮🇹🇪🇸🇩🇪🇫🇷
