Literacy
The children have been learning all about alliteration! Look at some of their work 😃

Roald Dahl Day 📚 Today the children completed lots of fun activities based around the famous author Roald Dahl! They learnt all about him and then created their own characters, inspired by characters from Roald Dahl’s books, to use for their narrative writing activity. They also completed a Roald Dahl wordsearch, a mindfulness colouring activity and they even used Roald Dahl challenge cards as part of their numeracy lesson. At the end of the day they participated in a drama session on hot seating where the children pretended to be lots of different characters including The BFG, Charlie Bucket, and Matilda!
