Literacy Week and World Book Day Celebrations 🌟📚
Primary 7 have been studying the features of procedural writing. As part of a fun literacy task, Primary 7 created a set of instructions for ‘worms in dirt dessert.’ The best part was eating our creations. 🌟
In P7 we have been studying the features of Narrative writing. We created our own pieces of Narrative Poetry based on a fictional monster. We created our own monster and character description and developed rhyme as a poetic technique. We then made our characters out of felt. We think they look brilliant! 🌟
Primary 7 have been working on developing their talking and listening skills. We are working on becoming confident with talking in a range of situations and for different audiences. We had great fun using drama techniques to develop our skills. 👏🏼🗣
Primary 7 have been very busy developing their talking and listening skills. Each pupil interviewed a peer and created a PowerPoint presentation based on their findings. The PowerPoints were then presented to the whole class. 👏🏼
