Primary 4/5 were invited to attend the official opening of the Olympia Leisure Centre. The boys and girls had an excellent day out and we were even chosen to appear in the official photographs of the ceremony. #proud
Our pupils had a brilliant time during our residential trip to Greenhill May 2018
We really enjoyed our 'Blue Day' in school to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis - such a worthy cause! Thank you to everyone who contributed!
P4/5 had an amazing day at Good Shepherd Primary School where we had a visit from the Small Worlds group. We found out so much about other countries from the people who have lived there, and all about their cultures and traditions.
We were delighted to welcome NI Teaching students, International Teaching students and Early childhood studies students on placement from Stranmillis University College. The students had the opportunity to learn from the experienced and highly skilled staff we have in Blythefield.
We wish all of our students the best of luck in their future careers.
We would like to say a massive thank you to our Parent Group who created Easter activities for all our pupils. Our pupils had a blast completing an Easter Trail around the community. What better way to end a fun packed day than with an Easter Egg!!
What a sad day in P4/5! We had to say goodbye to our wonderful student Miss Muller. Miss Muller told us all about Germany, some interesting facts and taught us how to say some words in German. She also gave us all a lovely gift, she will be missed!
Our pupils and staff got their socks out in support of World Down Syndrome Day, a charity very close to our hearts. #wdsd18 #wewouldn’tchangeathing 🧦
We enjoyed our whole school Christmas Dinner. We had great food, great music and the best company. #blythefieldfamily
Our very own Winter Wonderland. Snow days are the best days.
Christmas Jumper Day
P4/5 enjoyed posting their letters to Santa in our school post box.
Wearing spots to raise lots! Children in Need 2017.
P4/5 treated the whole school to a special assembly based on our class topic- The Human Body. We created a presentation and taught our peers some excellent facts about bones, the skeleton and muscles. We even sang a song at the end.
Our choir performed at their very best at The Grand Opera House on Sunday 22nd October! They dazzled the audience, supporting the ABBA tribute band 'The Bjorn Identity' and all had an amazing time! We even had our very own dressing room! The atmosphere was amazing, and we feel very privileged to have been invited to take part in such an fabulous experience. Next stop, Broadway!
Happy Halloween!
