🏛️ School Council & Eco Council Visit 🌿
Our School Council and Eco Council had a fantastic opportunity to visit the Lord Mayor’s Chambers this week!
Pupils represented our school brilliantly, showing great interest in how decisions are made within our city and learning more about the important role of the Lord Mayor. They asked thoughtful questions and demonstrated real enthusiasm for making a positive difference in their community.
It was a valuable and inspiring experience for all involved, well done everyone, we are so proud of you! 👏💙💚
Thank you Councillor Tracy Kelly Lord Mayor of Belfast for the opportunity!

Our School Council promoted wellbeing during Mental Health Week by running a popular Treat Trolley and selling fun wellbeing items. Their efforts raised awareness, encouraged kindness, and helped create a positive, supportive school environment.
Our School Council recently led a whole-school poster competition based on the theme “This is Our Place.” Pupils across all year groups took part, showcasing their creativity and pride in our school community through thoughtful and imaginative designs.
The School Council carefully reviewed all entries and selected a group of well-deserved winners. Prizes were presented during assembly, where we celebrated the fantastic effort, talent, and positive messages shared by our pupils. A big well done to everyone who took part!
Our School Council recently delivered a whole-school assembly focused on mental health awareness. They confidently shared important messages about looking after our wellbeing, speaking up, and supporting one another.
The assembly was engaging and thoughtful, helping pupils understand that it’s okay to talk about their feelings and that everyone has a role to play in creating a kind, supportive school community. Well done to our School Council for leading such an important and impactful assembly!
