P5 won the attendance award for May! 🎉 The prize was 'Break the Rules Day!' Everyone had fun wearing their own clothes, having an unhealthy snack and sitting beside a friend.  They also were rewarded with some sweets! 🙂🍬

P5 had a wonderful day at Sports Day! Well done everyone! 🏆🏅

P5 enjoyed a wonderful day at The Ulster Folk Museum at Cultra. We experienced what school life was like in the past through an interactive workshop which included some outdoor play in the sunshine. 🌞 Everyone visited the corner shop and purchased some old fashioned sweets to enjoy on the journey home. 🍭🍬

P5 enjoyed a wonderful, interactive workshop delivered by the Dogs Trust. 🐕

P5 enjoyed a tour of the Grand Opera House. We got to experience sitting in the 'Royal Box' as well as taking a bow on stage!  🎭 

P5 enjoyed a visit from Jigsaw Farm! Everyone had a chance to meet the animals!🐑🐣🦆

Fun and fitness in P5! Our annual Easter egg hunt was a great success! Everyone found an egg! 🐥🐇🥚

P5 won the February Attendance Award! 🎉 Everyone enjoyed their prize, a classroom Candy Cart! 🍬🍭

P5 had fun 'Litter Picking ' around our school. 🚮

P5 had a wonderful morning learning about the famous poet, Robert Burns. The event was hosted by the Ulster-Scots Society. We all enjoyed the music, drama and poems!

P5 Children in Need and Bun Sale Day! 

P5 visited the Grand Opera House and enjoyed an interactive workshop hosted by Dale Farm. They enjoyed learning about farming, cows and lots more! The 'Silly Moos' workshop included lots of singing and dancing. Before leaving, everyone received a tub of Dale Farm ice -cream. 🍧

As part of our Anti-Bullying week activities, P5 wore odd socks to symbolise how we are all different and unique. 🧦

P5 enjoyed a fun, interactive, dental workshop. We learned lots of facts about teeth, dental hygiene and how to properly brush our teeth! 🪥 The winners of the P5 dental colouring competition were awarded prizes by the dentist.  Everyone received a dental themed goodie bag too. 🛍️

Autumn has arrived!

P5 had fun designing, drawing and painting artwork for our autumn themed display board.

They used apples from our school garden to paint with. Lots of ​​​​​fantastic, unique work was produced! 🍎🎨

P5 enjoyed a visit from the Nurture Team. We learned how to relax, exercise and de-stress in short 5 minute bursts! ​​​​​​
