P2 have been taking part in a pencil skills programme, learning all about letters and sounds and how to form them correctly ✏️
The children have been developing their fine motor skills through a range of fun activities including cutting, gluing and creative tasks. They have also enjoyed active movement activities in the hall to support coordination and control.
Primary 2 Weekend News and Word Building
Primary 2 have been busy this week writing their weekend news and practising sounding out words. The children worked hard on their sentences and loved building words using magnetic letters and sound cubes. Lots of smiles, super spelling and brilliant effort all round!

This week, the children have been exploring a range of activities to build their understanding of sounds, words, and sentence construction. Through fun, hands-on learning, they are developing confidence in reading, spelling, and writing — and having lots of fun along the way!
