Numeracy

P2 have been using Cuisenaire rods to explore number bonds. By building and comparing different combinations, the children worked out different ways to make the same totals. They had great fun while developing their understanding of numbers! 🔢✨

P2 have been shape detectives this week! 🕵️‍♀️🔺 We’ve been exploring 2D shapes all around us, using Numicon to help us count carefully and spot number patterns, and even programming our busy Bee-Bot to travel across a giant shape mat. Lots of learning, problem-solving and smiles along the way!
