P6 had a fantastic time today at Windsor Park Stadium. We had a guided tour through the history of the Linfield Club, got to sit in the stands and even got to see Linfield's and Northern Ireland's changing rooms! What a brilliant day! ⚽️
P6 were finally able to show off all that we learnt with the Grand Opera House! We were juggling, plate spinning, dancing and acting! Take a look! P5 and P7 even came to watch us at the Grand Opera House 🎥 🎭
We won the attendance award! So, this week we had no homework and chip cones!
Today was Immanuel's last day at Blythefield! So we celebrated his time in our school with a party, quiz and then Immanuel chose a treat for everyone...the computer room, of course! 🖥. Goodbye Immanuel and good luck in your new school!
As part of our fabulous topic "Space Explorers", P6 spent the day at Armagh Planetarium, where they learnt a lot about Space and how to launch a rocket 🚀

Today, we were treated to a performance of Terrible Tales of Trash. We learned all about Joe rubbish affects animals and people throughout history. 🗑 🚮
Today, Leanne from Mind Explorers visited us in P6. We were learning how to still our minds and relax in the moment. This can help us manage our emotions.
As part of our topic Space Explorers, we designed, created and painted our very own aliens 👽 using clay! 😀
P6 were so lucky to have not one, but two visits from our school elf!
Today, we had a fantastic time at our "Glow in the dark" Disco! Afterwards, we had a special visitor!
Today wad a very busy day for P6! We went on a Santa walk, dressed in our snazzy Christmas jumpers and had our delicious Christmas Dinner with ALL the trimmings. 🎅
In ICT, we are beginning our Stop Motion animation project! We will be telling the story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory using Lego and stop motion.
Today, we used our weaving skills to create Mayan "god's eyes". These were objects the Ancient Maya created as they believed they were very special. This was part of our history topic.
Anti-Bullying week = Odd Socks Day!
Today, P6 became chocolate tasters. We tried 4 different types of chocolate and thought about appearance, smell, texture and taste. As you can tell from our reactions, we liked some more than others!
P6 are very Mindful! Take a look at our super calm cool down after lunch time play. This gets our brains ready for afternoon learning. 🧠
P6 spent some time collecting apples from the trees in our school garden. We washed them up well and then made chocolate apples! Take a look! 🍎
Today we played a game of "Me Too" using a piece of string. This helped us to see what we all have in common and what connects us as a class. 🔗
