Blythefield PS pupils were chosen to take part in filming promotional videos for THE IFA and sponsors McDonalds on Tues 21st Nov. They got to take part in a football training session led by NI player Paul Smyth. They had a fantastic morning. NI player Paul Smyth took lots of time at the end to sign shin guards, football boots and give out autographs. The pupils were over the moon.
A seat fit for a King. Blythefield Primary present their winning Coronation bench to King Charles and Queen Camilla. The memories of this day are something we will never forget. ππ
In recognition of their artistic endeavours nine pupils received 'Blythefield PS Talented Artist 2023' award trophies. Very well deserved. We are incredibly proud of them

πNumeracy week π
Our boys and girls had the best time taking part in a range of activities during Numeracy Week. They have been busy searching for numbers on daily mile, taking part in colouring competitions, dressing up, exploring the school garden and hunting for Easter eggs. A fab week all round! ππΌπ₯³
To mark the start of Anti-bullying week our pupils and staff had great fun wearing odd socks to school.
Our pupils also took part in a range of activities designed to encourage them to express themselves and celebrate their individuality. π

We were delighted to receive the award for Highly Commended Best Primary School in Northern Ireland. It was lovely to receive this recognition for a staff team that show passion and empathy for the pupils every single day. The staff work tirelessly with true dedication. We are over the moon to achieve this award for Blythefield. A huge thank you to our community for your continued support and of course to our pupils who are always at the centre of everything we do!
WE WON!! πππΌπ
We were delighted to receive an Aisling Award for Outstanding Achievement in Education for our Shared Education Project.
Well done to Mrs Jones for all her hard work in facilitating this project. Also, a huge well done to our partner school Good Shepherd and all the pupils from both schools who made this project a huge success!
We were delighted to welcome the First Minister Arlene Foster and Junior Minister Megan Fearon to officially open our amazing new school garden. 'To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow' (Audrey Hepburn)
We are excited to share some special moments captured during the opening today.
