Transition Programmes

At Blythefield Primary, we understand that moving on to secondary school is a big step for our Primary 7 pupils. That’s why we provide a carefully planned Transition Programme to help every child feel confident, prepared, and excited about the next stage of their learning journey.

Our programme includes:

Visits to local secondary schools.
Joint activities and projects with future classmates.
Support sessions focused on confidence, friendships and change resilience.

We work closely with families and partner schools to ensure every child’s transition is smooth and supported, both academically and emotionally.

At Blythefield Primary we don’t just prepare children for the next school – we prepare them for success.
